I recently graduated with a degree in journalism from the University of Central Florida.

Last summer I interned at NBC in New York City. I worked for NBC’s new cable channel, New York Nonstop, which features short magazine journalism-style “pods” about life in New York. I also did some work for Channel 4, NBC’s flagship station.

Last semester I interned with Sport Diver magazine as a Web intern. That internship further allowed me to polish my multimedia skills and I learned how to use social networking as a tool, rather than just for fun.

Most recently I worked as the news production editor at the Central Florida Future, the UCF student newspaper. I had been writing for the paper for a couple of years before taking on the position.
